NJ Transit
The Family Promise office is located one block from the Summit train station on the Morristown Line. From the train station, use the exit marked "to Union Place." Immediately cross the street and make a right along Union Place. The Summit Diner is on the next corner on your left. Family Promise is located in the building directly across from the diner on Summit Avenue.

New Jersey Turnpike - Heading North or South
At Exit 14 (Newark Airport Exit), head for Interstate 78, going west. (Note: avoid the “Clinton Avenue” ramp in Newark.) Follow directions below for 78 West.

Garden State Parkway - Heading South
Take Exit 142, for Interstate 78 West. Follow directions below for 78 West.

Garden State Parkway - Heading North
At Exit 142, get over on extreme right after the $.35 toll; go up ramp to Route 78 East. Within a short distance there will be an exit for Hillside/Irvington. Turn right off exit, turn right again to cross highway and get on Route 78 West. Follow directions below for 78 West.

Route 78 West (To Route 24 West)
On Route 78 West, stay in the local lanes on the right. After Maplewood and Millburn exits, look for major division of the road where Route 24 splits to the right. Take Route 24 (Exit 48 -- "124/24 West - Springfield/Morristown"). Once on Route 24, take the third Summit exit ("Summit Avenue"), turn left off exit ramp, cross over highway, and go straight at the light. Go straight at next two lights (DeForest and Springfield Avenues). Family Promise is on the left across from Summit Diner. The address is 71 Summit Avenue.

Route 78 East
Take Glenside Avenue/Summit Exit 45 (right turn-off). Turn left at light and follow Glenside Avenue to Morris Avenue. Turn left onto Morris Avenue; go past hospital to next light. Turn right onto Summit Avenue. Go through next light. Family Promise is one block up on your right, just past Chase Bank.

Route 24 West

Route 24 East
Take exit marked “Summit Avenue.” Turn right off ramp. Go straight through next two lights (DeForest and Springfield Avenues). Family Promise is on your left, near the end of the next block, across from Summit Diner. The address is 71 Summit Avenue.

Route 80/287
Get on Route 287 South. Get off at Route 24 exit. Follow Route 24 East to Summit Avenue exit. Turn right off ramp. Go straight through next two lights (DeForest and Springfield Avenues). Family Promise is on the left across from Summit Diner. The address is 71 Summit Avenue.
