"Home Again," is a new CD in celebration of Family Promise composed and performed by Ken Medema. It comprises several versions of the new Family Promise theme song, "Home Again," as well as other songs written specifically to help advance our mission. "Home Again" is a powerful collection of original spiritual songs, perfect for congregations and choral groups to use for inspirational concerts and fundraisers.

Family Promise of East San Fernando Valley includes Burbank, Sun Valley, North Hollywood, Glendale, Toluca Lake and Eagle Rock. It becomes the fourth Affiliate in California and the first in greater Los Angeles.

Family Promise of Washington County becomes our fifth network in the state of Wisconsin. Washington County is in the greater Milwaukee area, about an hour from downtown, but is predominantly rural in nature. There are no existing services for families in the county of 117,000 residents.

Family Promise of Nassau County becomes our first affiliate in downstate New York. Long Island has a huge discrepancy between wages and housing costs—an individual would have to work 169 hours a week at minimum wage to afford a two-bedroom apartment at market rate.

Welcome to Family Promise Chicago North Shore, our first Affiliate in the state of Illinois.  FPCNS encompasses the Evanston, Winnetka, Wilmette and Skokie areas along the shores of Lake Michigan, just north of the city of Chicago.

Anderson, SC is the home of our sixth network in the Palmetto State. Anderson County has only one program for homeless families, and their five school districts average 150 homeless students each.

Family Promise convened in Orlando from
April 30-May 2, 2010 for Dare to Dream, their national conference celebrating successes and exploring ways to continue meeting the challenges they face in their local communities. 2009 was an especially tough year for struggling families-unemployment peaked at over 10% and more families found themselves without homes than anytime since the Great Depression.

Welcome to our newest Affiliate, serving the Wilmington area.They are our first Network in the state of Delaware, which becomes the 40th state Family Promise has a presence in.

Family Promise of Odessa opened in January, our first new Affiliate of 2010 and the eleventh network in the state of Texas.
