  • Family Promise Convenes in Atlanta to Celebrate 25th Anniversary

    Family Promise Affiliate Directors, board members, staff and volunteers nationwide gathered in Atlanta for Family Promise’s 12th National Conference, May 3-5, 2013. The Conference celebrated 25 years of Family Promise and provided an opportunity for attendees to share ideas, meet new and old friends, and reflect on the accomplishments of Family Promise Affiliates in their collective goal to end family homelessness. The “Sharing Our Dream, Keeping our Promise” Conference was attended by 370 people, the most attendees ever at a Conference.

  • Our 5th Annual Family Promise Breakfast

    Each year, 200 guests attend the annual Family Promise Breakfast to learn more about how we help homeless families achieve sustainable independence. This invitation-only event raises funds for establishing new Family Promise Affiliates across the country while providing support for programming and materials nationally. This year's fundraiser will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at the exclusive Baltusrol Golf Club in Springfield, NJ.   • PetSmart Promise to Aid Homeless Families with Pets

    Family Promise is pleased to announce the launch of the PetSmart Promise program, in partnership with PetSmart, Inc., the nation’s largest specialty pet retailer. Petsmart Promise will build on-site pet kennel facilities at selected Affiliate Day Centers, allowing guests of the program to keep their entire families—including pets—intact as they work towards sustainable housing and independence.

  • Family Promise and Motel 6 Housing Families Together

    We are pleased to announce a partnership between Family Promise and Blackstone, the parent company for Motel 6. Family Promise Affiliates will receive a 10% discount on Motel 6 reservations as well as direct billing for added convenience. With over 1,100 properties, Motel 6 will immediately become a go-to option for Affiliates nationwide.
